Invictus Education Trust celebrate success yet again!

Invictus Education Trust students, staff, governors and trustees are, once again, bursting with pride as we celebrate our Year 13 students’ impressive achievements. We are extremely proud of both our Year 13 students and our team of staff for a remarkable set of 2021 results. Our ‘Invictus Sixth’ results of 100% pass rate are significantly higher than that of the national average! Our A*- C results at 92% and our A*/A results at 48% also place us higher than national statistics for Post 16 qualifications in both vital key performance indicators. These impressive figures demonstrate that despite the disruption and challenges the last two years have inevitably brought us, we have been relentless in our focus, drive and determination to succeed, in order to improve the life chances and opportunities of the students we serve. As a multi academy trust, our students’ results represent their resilience and their overall truly incredible work and attitude over the past two years. Both our students and staff have risen to the challenge of Post 16 study, applying themselves positively whilst adapting to the ways they have studied, including face to face and blended learning strategies.

The fantastic results of our Year 13 students demonstrate the quality of the remote learning our staff and schools provided, even throughout the first national lockdown. Our staff and students switched seamlessly immediately to online learning, one of the first multi academy trusts to do this nationally, to ensure our students’ education remained protected. We removed all inevitable barriers to ensure technology was in place to ensure Post 16 studies were able to continue. The results of our Year 13 students, in both our academic and vocational qualifications, are testament to our Invictus mission and values: to put the interests of our students first. Invictus Education Trust strive to transform the life chances of our young people, from Reception age right through to Year 13. We are fully committed to our pursuit of excellence and these results reflect our rich, broad, balanced curriculum, quality first teaching and learning, coupled with our outstanding pastoral care.

Due to this outstanding provision, we are proud to say that this year has seen an increase in the number of students who are continuing their education at their first choice universities, including those of the Russell group. In addition to university places, the high level of qualifications that have been achieved has enabled our students to secure employment or training opportunities of their choice. As a result of excellent careers information, advice and guidance provided by Invictus Sixth Form staff and independent professionals, our students have secured positive future steps for themselves and will now realise their aspirations. We now look forward to hearing about their future successes as we now build alumni networks with them.

Tony Bowles, CEO of Invictus Education Trust: I would like to thank all of the staff, students and their parents and carers, who have worked together as a team throughout to achieve these well-deserved results under the most challenging of circumstances. Congratulations to you all on your hard-earned success.

We are looking forward to welcoming prospective students, and their families, into our schools and sixth form in the new academic year at our various open evenings, to book your space visit our events page: www.invictus.education/ourschools
