As part of our contribution to community arts, we run an Invictus Community Choir, based in two separate venues. Open to anyone, (including Invictus students) these choirs offer a low cost way for novices to begin group singing, quickly progressing to added harmonies, in a fun, supportive setting.

THE CHOIRS PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULTS WHO MAY NOT HAVE SUNG FORMALLY FOR MANY YEARS

Additionally we recognise that for some of our pupils, music stops when they leave school, and so we see our choirs as an opportunity for these former pupils to continue their musical experiences.

Conducted by Callum Rogers, a former pupil from Ellowes, the choirs have already performed at Dudley Concert Hall, and at Kinver Music Festival, plus other local venues. Additionally, the choir is planning a tour of Germany alongside Invictus music students. There are also social occasions – meals, concerts, weekends away.

Please note, the choirs run term time only.
