Session Host

Hosted by our Head of Safeguarding, Antoinette Jackson, this session is part of a series of training events that aim to provide high quality safegaurding training to DSLs.

Antoinette was appointed as the Safeguarding, attendance and behaviour lead for Invictus Education Trust in January 2023. She has developed and implemented a number of strategies, systems and processes to ensure a safeguarding care and culture is embedded consistently. Children are at the forefront of our everyday practice and must feel that school is a second tier of family, enabling them to thrive and flourish due to care and nurture.

Antoinette has seventeen years’ experience within the education, safeguarding and wellbeing arena. Prior to her appointment at the Invictus Education Trust, Antoinette worked in secondary education as an Assistant Headteacher where she had a strategic and operational role leading safeguarding, child protection, PSHE curriculum, Careers and Mental Health. Her passion to support the best possible outcomes for children and young people is evident within her professional roles and outcomes, validated by Ofsted and partner professionals. Safeguarding and care is at the heartbeat of her everyday practice.
