Matt grew up in Surrey, attended a state school and graduated from Aston University with a degree in International Business and French. He is a chartered accountant and has worked for a global big four firm in the professional services industry for over 20 years. In his professional career, Matt has advised a variety of clients ranging from global blue chip companies to domestic not-for-profit organisations. He regularly advises company boards, audit committees and regulators on financial accounting matters. Matt brings considerable financial and audit advisory experience to the Invictus Educational Trust and is passionate about helping to improve educational outcomes for its students. Matt lives locally with his wife and three children. In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing or watching sport and walking his dog.
