As an experienced teacher of Mathematics I am currently involved in working within a number of areas of Initial Teacher Training. This includes work with Primary PGCE, all Secondary routes and I am the Undergraduate Lead for Secondary Education

I have prior experience of working within a Local Authority as an AST and as a Consultant, supporting colleagues in a variety of schools and delivering CPD.

I was fortunate to be a member of the Advisory Committee for Mathematics Education (ACME), an independent committee that develops advice on mathematics education policy in England and subsequently the Outer Circle and in this role I worked with the TDA and other organisations to devlop the Functional Skills Qualifcations and ITT courses provising support to teachers changing to teach mathematics from other subjects. I was the ACME representative on the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust Expert Panel.
