Ganiy is the Director of Finance and IT at YMCA Thames Gateway Group in London—the world’s oldest and largest youth charity, dedicated to empowering young people and strengthening communities through a wide range of locally tailored services.

In her role, Ganiy leads the financial and digital strategies to ensure operational efficiency, sustainability, and lasting social impact.

She also serves as Chair of the Finance, Risk, and Audit Committee at Invictus Education Trust, supporting strong governance, risk management, and financial oversight across the organisation.

Previously, Ganiy was Head of Finance at Habinteg Housing Association, where she managed financial strategies for asset management and development programmes, with responsibilities covering compliance, financial planning, and risk management.

Her earlier career includes senior finance roles with Shepherds Bush Housing Group, Clarion Housing Group, and Metropolitan Housing Trust Ltd. Ganiy also spent a decade at The City & Guilds Group in London, where she held a series of finance roles that deepened her commitment to social impact through skills development and global mobility initiatives.

Outside of work, Ganiy enjoys spending time with her family. She is married with three children and often spends her free time exploring the outdoors on long walks, cycling, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
