Mr M Kent

I grew up in Liverpool, attending a state school and developed a love of Mathematics, studying for a degree in the subject at Leeds University. I went on to teach in a series of sixth form colleges, gaining promotion to be Deputy Principal at King Edward VI College, Stourbridge, and have recently retired from being principal at Stoke Sixth Form College and CEO of the Potteries Educational Trust, serving one of the most deprived communities in the country. I have lived in Pedmore for almost 30 years, am married with two children – one an NHS doctor and the other a software designer and am looking to find new ways to give back to my local community. As well as being a trustee I am also church warden at Christ Church Lye, enjoy walking and cycling and making use of our recently acquired motorhome.
