Managing director of landscape of a high-class landscape contracting firm that specialises in high class country house hotels and licenced premises.

Previous Experience

Over forty-five years’ experience with the Army Cadet Force rising from a local detachment commander to Brigade Colonel Cadet responsible to the Brigade Commander for over six thousand young people and volunteers in both the community and school based across four counties in the West Midlands.

During this time Col Knutton chaired or cochaired or was a member of a number of committees or regulatory bodies. These included the WM safeguarding board, the Brigade management committee, Regional Command Col Cdts Group, the Tri service Welfare Committee and was a board member of WE RFCA.

Col Knutton was appointed OBE in the New Years Honours 2019 for services to the ACF and Youth.

Home Life

He is married to Eileen with two grown up children. Eileen has business, a café bistro in Tamworth. Until recently, on retirement from the ACF his time was filled with his ‘hobby’ the ACF. He is now catching up with some missed reading and being a grandparent!
