Pedmore Maths Feast

Pedmore hosted the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP) Year 10 Maths Feast for the first time today.

The event is a fun educational challenge for Year 10 students, who take part in teams of 4, which tests their problem-solving and teamwork skills. As well as Pedmore, 12 visiting schools participated including 2 other Invictus Schools, namely Wombourne High School and The Crestwood School. The maths was extremely challenging, but this didn't prevent all students from being fully engaged and they thoroughly enjoyed the event. Tom Carpenter from AMSP commented "Thank you again for today, I'm really pleased that we've been able to put on an enrichment event again in the area."
