Kinver High School's Ofsted 2021

I am excited to share the fantastic news of Kinver High School’s OFSTED report. When Kinver High School joined Invictus Education Trust, it had been judged ‘Requires Improvement’ by Ofsted for some time. Therefore, it gives us immense pride to announce that Kinver High School is now officially rated by Ofsted as ‘Good’ in all areas!

I have seen first-hand the impact Mrs Clifton (Headteacher) has had at the school since her appointment in December 2019. The transformation has been incredible to see and has been noted by not only Ofsted but by its staff, students and their parents and carers. Our HQ is situated at Kinver High School and it has been such a pleasure to watch the hardworking and dedicated staff living and breathing Invictus Value One: “Every day, in every way, our students come first”. I have known for some time that Kinver is a ‘good’ school. In my opinion, it is much better than ‘good’ in most areas, the proof of which will be in the outcomes for the students in years to come.

Mrs Clifton recently announced the news to her whole staff, showing her appreciation and recognition of their hard work and commitment to ensuring Kinver High students receive the very best education and opportunities. She also invited our entire Invictus central team to the announcement to share the celebration as an acknowledgement of the support the central team have offered. I would also like to express my gratitude to our central team who work tirelessly to support our schools, and for their role in achieving this fantastic judgement. My thanks also go to all other stakeholders of Kinver High School, from governors to the families of students for their continued support.

Well done to all at Kinver High School, you are a real credit to your community, and our Trust!
