Invictus Education Trust

Dear Governors and Headteacher

We put our students at the heart of the decisions we make.

Our high-quality staff work tirelessly to ensure our students get the best provision and support, both academically and pastorally. This was evident in our recent lockdowns when over 37,000 lessons were delivered virtually, ensuring our students were offered the best provision possible, to minimise ‘Lost Learning’. We were able to do this right from the beginning
of lockdown due to our amazing internal ICT Team – the equipment and facilities were already in place, at every one of our schools, for this to be actioned.

One of my key priorities has been to ensure that our Trust has a robust school improvement infrastructure. As part of our Central Team, we now have three experienced school leaders focusing on all aspects of School Improvement in a full-time capacity for both primary and secondary education.

We work alongside our schools to support development rather than ‘dictating’ how it should be!

We use our DfE Capital Development Grants to full effect which, alongside careful financial management of other monies, ensures that every school, and therefore student, in our Trust benefits from improved facilities, be it a new sports hall or refurbished toilets.

Our school premises are constantly being developed. We have state-of-the-art science and technology labs, sports halls and fields, dance studios and swimming pools, many of which are open to the community and are facilities, that should you join our Trust, you would have access to. Over the past five years we have invested over £25.5 million, with each School having either a partial new build or refurbishment project over the past two years.

Recently these have included; a Maths Block for Wombourne, Sports Hall for Kinver and Science Block for Crestwood.
